FAQ

Pag-IBIG contribution questions

How much is the Pag-IBIG contribution in 2026?

Employees pay 2% of their monthly fund salary (1% if it is ₱1,500 or less) and employers pay 2%, on a maximum fund salary of ₱10,000. So the most that is required is ₱200 from the employee and ₱200 from the employer (HDMF Circular No. 460, effective February 2024 and still current).

What is the maximum fund salary?

₱10,000 since February 2024 (it was ₱5,000 before).

What counts as fund salary?

Basic salary plus other allowances received in the month (HDMF Circular 460). Because of the ₱10,000 cap, most full-time employees simply pay ₱200.

Can I contribute more than ₱200?

Yes. Members may save more than the required amount; the extra is voluntary savings that also earns dividends.

How much do self-employed members pay?

Self-employed members pay both the employee and employer shares: up to ₱400 a month.
