Questions

Where does the data come from?

The Chrome UX Report popularity ranks, which Google publishes monthly from Chrome users who opted in to usage statistics (CC BY 4.0), and the Majestic Million, the top 1M domains by linking subnets, updated daily (CC BY 3.0).

Does it give monthly visits like Similarweb?

No. The open data gives popularity tiers, not visit counts, and the actor does not invent estimates. If you need a visits number, a paid panel is the only source.

How often is it updated?

Chrome ranks monthly, Majestic daily. The date of each source is in every row (chromeDataMonth, majesticDate).

Why is a site unranked?

It is below the top 1M in Chrome worldwide and in all 40 countries, and not in the Majestic Million. Very new sites and most small businesses land here, which is also useful when scoring leads.

Does it visit the websites?

No. Nothing is fetched from the domains you enter.
